It's 2.30 am midnight and I have just returned down Home from Campus and I had to post it out right away !! People Have been shouting through sms's , scraps and possibly by scribbling down on my wall's asking me on which holy peregrination I am on ?!

and the Answer is - ON Campus !!

Well Life has changed for me considerably , I have fallen in love with my campus , I cant seem to get enough of the beautiful structure and the work we do out there - Lectures or Events or any Stuff , I am in there and I want to be there...Cause sadly , I aint going to be there forever.........

In a few months , I have to get back to job hunting or down the corporate aisle again.....

Maybe its all for the redemption for the lectures bunked @ M L Dahanukar and the time wasted during those B.COM College Days.....I wish this redemption goes on forever.........

New Year Nirvana

I clicked this snap , at the Light of Dawn capturing the first rays of the Sun in the new Year. As I and Smit , took a walk down the shore of Gorai , watching the sun come down on the first day of a new year , I realized that an year had gone by and the it was a roller coaster ride that the year 2OO8 had in store for me.......Though it wasn't a memorable year for me , I had seen things on both ends of the road.

I left Citi in early February and then began the bodacious safari of what MBA had in stored for me through the months of February to July.

Finally , I landed up and began my MMS course with a rootless mind set and a poignant inside , which had seen much of personal relationships falter as time tested me in all possible aspects.......
Life since then has been on a roll and I have decided to give all my best on it......

Things which I wasn't able to do at Dahanukar ,something which I always wanted to commit at Citi.......

Its like taking a look at Life the way You want to -
Diamonds may seem Pebbles if You are one of those who think everything gets screwed up just because Life hates the Guts within you , while to some it may seem Gems as for them , every moment every opportunities are steps to re define themselves.......

I have found mentors and a mantra for a Life time:

Twenty years from now on you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the the ones You did do....

Its time to re define oneself each day......each hour......

As is the last day of the year , we often sit back and look at the year and sigh at the things that have gone right and those which have gone wrong.

I had decided to look back and the day that I would laugh back at will be of course 31st December 2007.....

I was working for Citi back then and still remember that night we gathered up at Aj's place and drank till late night and cribbed , laughed , cried , hugged and all that shit that the 'New Year mood' get's U to do !!

And then early morning....I got a ring back saying that my Process was running , my Process "was' RTGS....in simple words Fund Transfers of Corporate Clients for Citigroup.....

I was awake till 4.00am in the morning and at 5.00 I get this news........
My hangover didn't seem to leave me , my eyes had gone fishing and so were my brains - out of business.....

Somehow I dragged my legs from Aj's place to my home and right then sms,messages slammed my phones - that I would have to be at office by 9am as there was no other Entry operator till noon......

God!!! I can still feel those glances that I got from the people fresh and charged up on New Year's Eve and I walked like a Zombie , who didn't want to be abstracted from the past....

The day started and the entries and requests started hitting my desk , and I simply didn't know how and what condition , I was working in......In spite of so much 'petrol' inside me I still seemed to run fine........

The noon went by and I requested my boss to leave the day on a half................

The next day , I walked in and someone quoted - "Hey Man , U know yesterday Sachin Tendulkar transferred an amount close to 10 crores to his account in HSBC for some purchase of equity for Angel Broking and you didn't tell us "

The iniquitous side of a thing called 'Love'

Love a word which is hard to understand and impossible to let go off.....
What happens when people are given the toughest of the options to choose from.....

In college - I discovered a game called 'Kill One , To Save One' which we often do with friends and play in at group meets and stuff , unknowingly without sensing that life will play this game so soon with the Time traveller.......
But believe it or not , life has laid down its cards and the pain of losing a person who has been your better half is worse than excruciating......

Life's gone numb.Its getting difficult to breathe......Dreams smashed , visions scattered and thoughts broken down.

Its just like your heart is in a desert , and after walking such a long distance with that someone special , the person has vanished in thin air and all you are left is the distance you walked out......
You don't know what is the road ahead and there is no way to go back at the point where you started as the point has lost its locus.

The other person is not to be blamed as the toughest choice of selecting has been taken , after destroying memories and killing the best part of the person in itself......But as they say , it cannot be explained in words.....

As Time Traveller battles against his own bonne amie , the verdict goes on in favor of of course the stronger Opponent - Time.......

If you get even 1% of what is written that means , you have been through the feeling of pain of love which simply cannot be put down in words.....

Waiting is painful.Forgetting is painful.But not knowing which to do is the worst kind of suffering.

The Examination blues have hit our campus in the midst of the ongoing "war" which came down to the streets of South Mumbai.....

Since then , I have distanced myself from the 'idiot box' as there is nothing much interesting to watch to relive our stress hormones and calm down those nerves which get over heated after strenuous labor of reading pages and pages , similar to that of stuffing a dozen clothes in a mid size bag.......

I have never been good at this stuffing - vomit thing and sadly will never be , which means I would never be among the top ranks of our so called 'Mumbai Univ' courses.......

Anyways the exams have a different milieu of its own.....

The 'jet lag' syndrome of sitting up the entire night before the exams and coming down and sleeping for hours in the day , 'fortunately' if the day after the exam is a holiday.

The 'unshaved look on guys' making most wonder whether these guys had been studying or have been inducted on a 'jehadi' war camp.

The stratagem people come up with to ensure copying in examinations would be another tale to tell about.....

Chits in pockets,shoes,socks,purses,under the watch,pants.....now I better not go deep in it...And I aint even discussing the ploys used by girls in hiding these chits.....m Embarrassed !!!

And the supplement's people take...I pity those trees which have been cut down in order to make these supplements on which some go on and on and on and Oh god! Some write as if they would score only for writing!

And of course the powwow people have after the exams.......Discussing the past , present and future can only be witnessed in one such colloquium.

Anyways we had one such patrol , when one of our supervisors barged in and had an inspection from shoes to pockets......Well this is one of the 'memories' created in a short span I would carry with me !!!!

Its 29th November and sometimes I feel why this day is so special in spite of years bending down and the time traveling on a magic carpet......

But its so seems Love is not a traveler , its a train traveler and someone who forgets some baggage down every station where it halts for a tea or sometimes it even manages to lose the train......

Its been years I moved in , if the word can be used in the context , but yes......the heart and the mind have been through a lot......

Mayhem in Mumbai

Its been around 10 hours and on since all the stuff has been going around in South Mumbai.
I have hardly been able to sleep for more than an hour......Neither my heart and neither my soul is at peace after getting a load of the vehemence going around at the veins of the city.
Taj , Oberoi , The Trident, Metro Cinema, Cama Hospital , CST station......!!!
Under attack...

It's a well planned operation - An Operation aimed at the FEAR FACTOR of the people !!
With an objective to dismantle the transport and medical systems , which are the most important system , after such an attack takes place.......

We lose the three best of the best officers on their line of duty, who i presume barged in just to make sure they can deliver at the time that their duty called out for them......Its the thing that has disturbed me the most...What do we lose ???!
3 best intelligent officers - the chief of ATS , one encounter specialist and the additional commissioner. So many IPS officers risked their lives and answered their call of duty when it mattered to the city the most.......

Never in my life did I expect to see this - at our favorite hangouts - Leopold Cafe , The lobby kinda area of Taj and the Oberoi lanes near Chowpatty.....
I am numb and am speechless with emotions of burning and fury killing me from inside......
How much can Mumbai take ? How many souls will thse terrorists burn ???

Why are we just Faking this 'move on , live on' attitude.......The 'spirit of Mumbai' will have to change.....It will have to provoke the system and the higher authorities to take some strong steps to ensure the safety of civilians and normal citizens. As I type and watch the barrage on the TV , it leaves behind a gutted feeling - the Mumbai night life has been left simply kaput...

Its time to really wake up or rather lets just stop pretending to be asleep !!!!!

The After effects of the Ist Maths Internals

What happens when fun at the campus is over and the reading rooms to the common rooms carry whispers and talebearer's become the 'important' people on the campus ??!!

Its suggests - exams are round the clock and the people who never knew the right steps leading to the library , are often seen collecting notes and books like archeologists going through their aged old research works.....

Well , I don't even know how most of the other internals went by but Maths as you must have come to know from my previous posts , was the main reason behind nightmares.....They wont go at least until the end of the First Terminals......

Now this is the internal paper of my friend Smit , who scored 2/15 in the Probability and Integration test......the irony of this case is that , people who copied from him went ahead and scored glamorous marks like 6/15 and 8/15 (now in the M-world , these are glamorous indeed!).
I scored a 12/15 and was awestruck at this magical result of mine , when the Maths professor took the topic i even dread to name - Hypothesis !!!
(Yucks , Yucks)(Sounds like Satan's wife's IV child , doesn't it ?)

Smit in his frustration cribbed and cribbed and cribbed and man , he couldn't stop that day.....Cursing the people from the other end of the class to making plans to go on a hunger strike , he didn't stop until the Professor finally couldn't take the noise and said he would be deducting 2 marks of the person whomsoever he catches talking....

Over this Smit expostulated stating , what if the person had secured only 2 ??!!!
I burst out laughing for the next 10 mins , imagining the situation that what if the Professor would have decided to deduct the 'only' marks he had managed to secure............

Anyways.......The term has come to the end , the temperature in Mumbai has just started falling down , while over here it seems the Greenhouse effect is at its fullest !!!!

Who said - You don't need to study at a B-School !!! Its about getting the basics strong and clearer..

Gee !! Wish people knew how to give some better advices......

The revolution after the Maths Internals........

well the Maths test was done for......

I say this because in about quarter of an hour , you solve 5 sums of derivatives , 5 of integration and 5 of Probability , for 20 marks you gotta feel a feeling of being fucked !!!

Will it be improper to say Mother Fucked ??? !

So what do we do.......Revolt !!! Revolt by taking out the shirts tucked in proper and decide to attend the rest of the days lectures just like that !!

All the boys that came in canteen had to go through that 'in the rebellion' thing and like it or not Heet and Gang were doing great to make sure all the boys had their nice crispy ironed shirts out.....The canteen was in total pandemonium and the girls were just enjoying the plight of dumb struck guys coming in the canteen for a tea break and having their shirts tucked out on compulsion......We were all in mood of some 'tough fun' and knew that the feeling of screwing up wont be new for the day , as all had screwed up the Maths test already....

So there we marched on , in a rebellious mood , out to attend the next lecture , in a mood to voice out our displeasure of the marking of the 'Maths internals'....
I as an outsider sensed , what feeling Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev must have felt when they walked down the gallows to be hanged singing 'Mera Rang De Basanti Chola........'
Suddenly , there came a news that the next lecture was gonna be taken by the dierctor.........

SCAMPER.....SCAMPER....!!!!
Fizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz !!! All the feelings of revolution washed away.........

Moments Later: Whoever mentioned about breaking the dress code of the campus.....We MMS students are always proper when it comes to our code of conduct and our dress codes at the campus....

Did anybody mention of walking in class with the shirts tucked out ???

Rang De Basanti

As I watch Rang De.... for the umpteenth time , I often wonder why I love this movie so much.....

Being a die hard movie fan , i have been a childhood patronizer of Aamir Khan and his movies , from the days of JO JEETA WOHI SIKANDAR to Aamir turning director in TAARE ZAMEEN PAR.

Without much deviating from the topic i often wonder why Rang De is so special.......
I still vividly remember that it was in our SY B.COM that Rang De had released and our entire gang had been at Suncity , Parle (E) on Saturday , 2 days after it was released
(Yup , It released on a Thursday , 26th of January 2006)

After the movie , the connection we felt was simply exhilarating. It had a prodigious impact on us and we were left wondering how come some one could deliver a story direct from the heart ?

I still can say the movie was entirely scintillating but some scenes left my heat numb and I could sense a lump in my heart sensing whatever in it - is true.....

Politics , Education systems , Youth Empowerment all these are big words from the big dictionaries and the big people but how does it connect us small and simple people ?

I connected well with most of the characters but certainly somewhere I felt my sensory stimuli similar with that of Siddharth , the rich son of the politician,money in his pockets , costly jackets , a 4 * 4 jeep and a ticket to an American University for his MBA secured !!!

What else do U need man ??

Of Course , the luxuries and the ticket outta the country is not available to me , but yes I too feel our country has become a trash can , people have no time, no interest in betterment of individuals, improper transport systems.......Oh!! C'mon I can write a thesis on what our country lacks.......And i too wanna escape out of this country for good.

I know its running away......I know its worse than bad to call your motherland a trash can and what not.........But I dunno I cant change the way I think or feel.......

Somewhere somethings are wrong and I feel its just a reaction to it. I believe nothing happens without a reason. NO Reaction occurs without a start. Its obvious some things outta change but cribbing down on a blog is not gonna work......Nor will getting in a political party work as the gutter is too dirty and a clean person too gets infected once he steps down in the gutter

Its just that the two best scenes of the movie remain in my heart embedded forever

Its been 3 days since I had a proper sleep....Yesterday I slept at 20.00hrs woke up after around atleast 13hrs of sleep.....

Duuhh !!!!

Business plan,Presentations on some thing called as delegation of authority and an internal Maths test on Integration, Derivatives and Probability.....

Yup.....U guessed it right....

If your like - are these the name's of the devils daughters ??? yes They are !!
They simply wont leave you wherever you go , whatever you do and however you do....

If you feel I am not making sense to you , dont blame me - this is hours of putting stress on the axons of my brain cells which seriously need a rest or a break.....which I am not able to afford until 15th Dec - the day my Ist term exams end....Until then internals , presentations , commitee meetings , exams n MATHS !!! nO !!!!

Yup.....A caffiene induced person studying some Mathematical jargons...Thats me since last midnight

My divorce with Arithematics dates back to my SSC days when I had score 13/75 in Geometry and had hid it from DAD saying "geometry - Its a cake walk".....I had surely cut myself since that day as later down the boards I missed out the 80% figure by a whisker thanks to Maths...Since then I left out my dreams of going out for Science and crushed my dream of doing an IT engineering from an engineering college.....I opted up for Commerce and opted for a theory subject instead of Maths.
Come 2 yrs down the lane and i have Maths again in my platter for my CA entrance exams....
That's it.......
I had fizzed out that year in extra socializing and gang hunting donw the college zones and at the entrance - once again screwed up the foundation exams due to Maths and as the mandatory rule said that you had to pass in all subjects - I HAD LOST IT !!!
this time the lid was pushed off and I had no regrets but only fury !!!

Come again...LA LA LA........I decide to take up MBA and once again when I start preparing for CAT/SNAP......Who do I meet along the way ???!!!
Well since then I can say , the relationship with Maths has never been rosy and romantic..........
Neither it is now.....I dont know what I am gonna do in the mid term exams and whether this phobia or should I say hatred for Maths is going to reduce further down in future.....

I wanna try and be good with it and I know its just the mindset of a person which works against himself and believe me every time we say we can do better - YOU surely can do better........
I am improving and I will !!!!

(I know 2 +2 = 4 and i did it without the help of a calculator and I also know 3+3=9 )

Finally.... I have revamped the blog after failure of "sPeak Out sPit Out - One" due to shoddy articles and my most of the time going down at B - School and to a certain extent down the roads

(I love to walk back from college).....
Now why I decided to name this blog so badly - dont ask me as it will be a part of my book
"one of the mysteries of the deep galaxy"

I have some projects in my mind - books or may be articles like

I hope I tend to get these books done or atleast some thing done.....a lot goes through my mind and escapes out due to the rigorous life we Mumbaikars lead....Its un healthy for creative people like me who damage a lot of brain cells per day.....

But now I seriously decided to indite myself in some serious blogging and will take out some pious time from my busssssyyyyyyy schedule to draw out some stuff....
For people who know me - No , I dont have those long locks any more , no I dont always wear a black tee and Hollister shorts and I am trying to be a decent "model" of a corporate...
